Puglia will host the second edition of the WHITE ART week, naturally also accompanied by the 2 days of the International Mediterranean Championship.

After almost a year since the first edition called “La Crociera del Pizzaiolo” which took place last November on the cruise ship “MSC MERAVIGLIA”, for the international Mediterranean championship comes the time of its second edition which will last 5 days and will be held on September 23rd on the beaches of Pulsano (TA).

The event organized by (APGM) the Ass. Pizzaioli around the world, an association founded in 2012 through social networks, and in collaboration with Mondo Pizza headed by Giovanni Cauli, Pizza Shulle, the German association of Umberto Napolitano and the International Pizza Federation of Tromiro Raffaele, announce this event, where the pizza chefs they will be the absolute protagonists of this event, in fact they will be hosted at the HOTEL CLUB II GABBIANO, where they will be able to put their skills into practice by challenging each other in dough strokes.

During the 3 days of the championship, there will be several categories in the competition , among which we will find the: Classic Pizza, Neapolitan Pizza, Gourmet Pizza; speed races, wide, and then again Pizze alla Pala, Pinsa Romana, Freestyle, and last but not least the Focaccia.

The participants in the event will also be able to participate in 4 days of courses where there will be some of the best masters of the white art, going from the 200 grams of the “a canotto” pizza of the master Marco Quintili to the pan and the Roman Pinsa of the award-winning master Francesco Disperso, and also indirect mixtures with world-famous masters such as Cristian Zaghini and the great master Piergiorgio Giorilli.

There will also be frestyle instructor Salvatore Torromino coming from Australia.
